The GREEN POWDER take-back system sees itself as a pioneer for the powder coatings industry and operates an EU-wide collection and recycling system for powder coating residues. The focus is Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

 

A closed system is created according to the cradle-to-cradle principle, tailored to the powder coatings industry. GREEN POWDER is an important concluding building block for the stringent sustainability of green powder coating technology. Powder coatings are free of solvents and heavy metals, the overspray can be recovered in the coating process. It is therefore already the preferred coating solution for green products and a prerequisite for successful certification for green building initiatives such as the EU GreenBuilding Program.

 

The GREEN POWDER was brought to life on the initiative of the European powder coatings industry. The ecologically sustainable recycling of powder residues from the application/coating and production was the "keystone" for closing the material cycle. Complete neutrality in terms of powder coating manufacturers is the basic requirement and basis for this.
